So my old computer finally gave in about a week before i was too go to Japan, so i had to get a new one for my daily needs. I have run it for about 3 weeks now, and i got to say, except for a few minor details, i'm quite happy with it. Even though java is supposed to have good cross-platform support and super awesome in every way, OpenJDK in Fedora 13 does not support Japanese fonts out of the box. It was pretty easy to fix. So i decided i should test the new Firefox with the infamous tag candy extension. I got a test version from Aza Raskins site, and booted it up. So after i considered moving to Wordpress.com because they had gtk-clients and could upload pictures, i decided to do something about it.
